Solid invasion

The solid invasion was encountered in the industry while using weighting materials to increase fluid density; solid particles which causes formation damage and permeability reduction near the wellbore, the tendency of these particles to settle down causes well control issues like; differential stuck pipe, zone blockage, and erosion to the surface equipment while flowing the well for production.

Cake Wash I

A calcium carbonate oil-based filter-cake breaker, either to inject Cake-Wash-I through the drill pipe with a delayed reaction additive and will react with the filter-cake during the rigging down. This method of well clean-up eliminates the use of Coiled Tubing, enzymes, and corrosion inhibitors. Alternatively, to spot the treatment through coiled tubing for a soaking time based on the down-hole temperature.

Cake Wash II

A single-stage barite water-based filter cake dissolver, using industrial grade barite with average 50-micron particle sizes, at 200 °F a single stage treatment dissolves over 90% of the barite water-based filter-cake.

Cake Wash III

Advanced barite HPHT oil-based filter-cake dissolver, remove over 90% of barite filter-cake particles, and retrieve the formation permeability. Barite is insoluble in water and acids such as; HCl, formic, citric, and acetic acid, as well as barite, has low solubility in chelating agents such as EDTA.

Cake Wash-IV

Advanced dissolver for ilmenite water-based filter cake, CakeWash-IV dissolves near 90% of the ilmenite filter cake after 12 hrs of reaction at 300˚F, the retained permeability of the Indiana limestone, and Berea sandstone cores were nearly 100% after treatment. Removal of ilmenite water-based filter cake is a simple process as compared with barite water-based filter cake.
